Won't you be a Friend?

The Friends of the Clovis-Carver Public Library is a group of people who believe in the Library and the importance of its services. The organization was formed in January of 1973, to foster closer relations between the Library and the citizens of Clovis.

The Group's Purposes:
  • To provide an organization for the association of persons interested in libraries.
  • To foster an increased use of the Library's facilities and services so that they may effectively serve and meet the needs and interests of the public.
  • To secure materials and services outside of the approved Library budget.
  • To encourage and receive gifts, endowments, and bequests for the benefit of the Library.
  • To foster general cooperation among libraries in this area.

The group accomplishes these goals by sponsoring book sales, sponsoring education programs, and printing special brochures in promotion of the Library, and various other activities. Please call the Library for the date and time of the next meeting.
